I am full of coffee. And Fury.

Have you ever called in to tech support (OK, Boomer) or sent a tweet, and felt betrayed because you didn’t get a response in, like, five seconds?
Yeah.
You are the reason I am filled with fury.
You are using a free account, or maybe a US$5 per month account. And you are outraged! O U T R A G E D !!! that the vendor hasn’t responded to you instantaneously.
Or perhaps you are paying hundreds of dollars per month for a software service, you’re an up and coming mid-sized business, and everything depends on that vendor’s service running 24*7*365. And suddenly, just before the big presentation, everything goes blank, they post an out-of-service notification, and you start emailing, calling, submitting support requests, and even tweeting at them. Their service comes back up days later, and they respond to you weeks later. And you drop them like a hot potato, and start using Glitter-Rama’s Hot Site of the Month, and furiously translate all your business processes to depend on Glitter-Rama. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Or perhaps you are running a multi-million or multi-billion dollar business using the free version of some great software, because, why pay money for something you can use for free? You’ve got bright people on staff who can fix things when they break, right?
Wrong.
You wanna know why the personal touch has left the building? Because your attention span is less than a gnat’s, you expect instant gratification for free services, you are arrogant, entitled, and mean-spirited, and frankly, your business (or lack of business) isn’t worth any vendor even paying attention to you.

You’re fired.
